A pretty boy idol who takes great pride in his looks. (He sees himself as the cutest, prettiest and most handsome idol ever.) A little taller than average, and keeps in shape with constant dance practice (though his stomach is described as "squishy" by another character). Dresses simply but expensively.

Voiced by Natsuki Hanae at his most obnoxious. Here are some clips that show how hammy he sounds:
» SS Finals Story Excerpt
» Renai Circulation
» "Jun-kun Jun-kun Jun-kun!!"
» Saying his catchphrase

And then here are a few singing samples:
Accept My Love
♪ Brightest Stars!!
Deep Eclipse
Ruby Love
Oinaru Ai no Mae ni Subete Megurikuru

Then here's a bonus Trap for You link, since that's the song his journal name is referencing.

basics
» An idol belonging to Cosmic Productions. Member of Eden and leader of Eve.
» Second son of a rich noble family. Since Hiyori's older brother is the heir, Hiyori is basically allowed to do whatever he wants. This is how he likes it, as he wouldn't dream of standing in his brother's way.
» Graduate of Reimei Academy, an idol training school and dystopian hellscape.
» Former student of Yumenosaki Academy and former member of fine.
» Proud dog parent.
» Frivolous spender.

personality
"My sweet smile is my weapon, my frivolous facade is my strategy, and my title of free-spirited, foolish second-born son is the armor that shields me."

In many ways, Hiyori Tomoe is an exemplary idol. Talented and passionate, he's a gifted performer who thrives on attention and has little concern for concepts like "privacy" and "shame." He'll blow kisses to his fans, smiling and waving as he goes about his day, boasting at one point that he wouldn't mind being followed around by cameras 24/7. The pressures of being a celebrity never seem to weigh on him, and he dedicates all his efforts to becoming a dazzling idol—a dream that was granted to him by his childhood friend Nagisa.

Some of Hiyori's behaviors off the stage are a little ess than exemplary. Bossy and spoiled, he has a tendency to order people around and complain loudly when he doesn't get his way. He's also frequently rude, prone to casually dismissing or outright insulting those around him. ("Umm, what was your name again? Oh well, it doesn't matter.") His confidence slides right into narcissism, and his lack of consideration for others is a common source of complaint. But he isn't just obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious; there is, often, a method to his madness. His pushy behavior can be just the thing to distract someone from their worries or spur them to action. His steamrolling others in conversations makes the interaction easier to control. And sometimes his manipulations are intended to help people or improve a situation
—like when he lies to his shuffle unit and tells them he's retiring as an idol soon, so he can bring the group together and get the best possible performance out of them.

Hiyori is aware of the fact he's somewhat exhausting. (Or, as he puts it, "It seems there's a problem with my personality.") When he's onstage, the audience loves him, though, and Hiyori is an idol because he craves that feeling of love. He wants to sparkle and shine, to be adored by all his fans, and to be known as something more than the "foolish second son"
he is at home. And he wants the best for the rest of his unit, too, even though the other members are quite rough around the edges. As far as Hiyori is concerned, his unit is one big family, and as the eldest, he considers himself to be something like the group's doting big brother.

Although Hiyori might be a bit too in love with himself, he has plenty of love to give to others. He'll spoil and "raise" anyone he deems worthy of his attention, whether that's a stray dog he found in a dumpster, a quiet boy who was raised in captivity, or a scruffy underclassman with a beautiful untrained singing voice. Hiyori's love is fierce and warm like the sun, but not unselfish;
he fully expects to be loved and adored in return, cheerfully reminding his underclassman that he ought to shower him with gratitude (and maybe do some chores for him while he's at it). Giving a bit, and then getting a lot in return: that's what you call good weather.
