[Let's get one thing straight: he did not appreciate all the walking.
If he had it his way, they would've been picked up from the set and delivered to their next location by car. But instead, they were simply given an address and told to find the place themselves. "Our accommodations had better be top-notch to make up for this!" Hiyori said to Nazuna on at least two separate occasions during their short walk. Perhaps he even said it three times.
But now, they have arrived, and judging from the outside, at least, the apartment seems to be rather high-class. The building is sleek and modern-looking, with glass windows and glass doors, and, of course, elevators on the ground floor. You'd think they were carrying heavy luggage, based on Hiyori's pleased reaction to those elevators. But no—all their things have already been transported to their rooms in advance. All that's left to do is settle in.
The correct apartment is marked with the number that corresponds to the one they were given. It's also marked with something none of the other rooms have: a video camera, positioned directly above the door. Their walk wasn't filmed, but their time together as roommates most certainly will be, and that includes their first time entering the room. Having full awareness of this fact, Hiyori makes sure he's smiling as he turns the key inside the lock, cognizant as always about his body's position in relation to the camera. The door opens, allowing them to step in.
Only a sliver of the apartment can be seen from inside the genkan. Once his shoes are off, Hiyori steps forward.]
Hmm~
[He hums theatrically loud, making sure the cameras can pick up on it. His eyes wander all around the room, bouncing off elegantly framed photos and paintings, ceramic vases, and sleek furniture.]
So this is our humble abode for the next eight days.
[Him saying they'll be there eight days is both a reminder to themselves, as well as the audience. He taps his chin, visibly considering his surroundings some more, before concluding,]
So far so good, I'd say! When I heard we'd be staying somewhere in the neighborhood, I wasn't sure what to expect, but this all looks rather promising! Though of course, we haven't seen all the rooms yet...
[Still, he's all smiles as he turns to his temporary roommate: Nito Nazuna, former leader of Ra*bits (and member of Valkyrie, though it's a bit taboo to mention that). Current college student, and "friend from his alma mater," as Hiyori referred to him on-set. Of course that's an exaggeration, but what are variety shows, if not heightened versions of reality?]
It'd be nice to have a housewarming, wouldn't it? Why don't you go through the storage to see if you can find anything festive? In the meantime, I'll go see what the bedroom looks like.
