But I'd only be doing it as a prank amongst the other idols, of course. I wouldn't dare spread rumors the press or other outsiders might latch onto. Sometimes we gossip amongst ourselves, though, and that's all in good fun...♪
Depends how you'd define "juicy." I feel I hear more about conflicts than I do about lovey-dovey things, though. Internal strife, money issues, "creative differences," and all that stuff.
[He sighs and takes a sip of tea. He wishes people would give him the good gossip :'(]
It's a shame, since I'd rather hear nice things. Things that bring excitement, and things that bring joy! But I guess everyone's too well-behaved to go around on dates. We idols aren't allowed to do that stuff, even though all of us still feel "love."
That's putting it rather bluntly, but you're not wrong.
[He admits it without issue.]
Then on the management side of things, they don't want us getting in scandals. Idols are supposed to set good examples, which is why I'm always such a role model.
[He winks.]
But of course, it's less "You mustn't be intimate" and more "You mustn't get caught." And that's how you and I have such a good thing going~♪ We know what it means to be discreet!
That "some people" you're talking about doesn't include me, does it?
[Said with a narrowed eye.]
I love to talk, but I also know what's appropriate! For example, even when I'm teasing Jun-kun, I always know not to go too far. Otherwise it's just bullying!
[Don't listen to him. He's definitely bullied Jun before.]
[But he isn't careful not to sit on the remote, which causes the TV to turn on with a blare of sound. He jolts, his eyes turning in that direction. Was it a ghost? An intruder?!
Nope. Just the TV, opening back up to those videos they were watching earlier. He stares at his own face, looking shocked!]
[ Ah. Elan leans in a little, eyes lidding a little in anticipation of the brush of fingers against his cheek, his smile spreading a little wider-
And then the blare of sound and TV starts him just about as much as it does Hiyori! He blinks, staring, and then bursts out laughing at the look on Hiyori's face. His gaze flicks from the real Hiyori in front of him to the broadcast, trying to contain his laughter. ]
Definitely something to watch out for in the future. Or maybe you can use it as a funny icebreaker.
[ He sighs, his laughter fading, and then he sets his mug aside and leans over, resting his chin on Hiyori's shoulder - a bit like a cat demanding attention - and lets out a low hum. ]
But I think I prefer the real you to the recording.

[ He laughs quietly. Seeing him pout is honestly... cute. ]

[He sticks his nose in the air, still pouting.
Though then another thing occurs to him.]
... by the same token, doesn't that mean if you wanted to start a rumor, you could simply say, "I saw a sock on so-and-so's door"?

[ In so many senses of the word. ]
Isn't that because people want to be able to imagine they have a shot with you?
[ He's a little blunt, even now. ]

[ He shrugs. ]
Although I know with some people that's much more of a challenge for reasons I can't fathom.

[ He says far too innocently. ]
And I believe you. Although not everyone shares the same definition of bullying, you know. Something to watch out for.
[ Or not. He's been cruel himself at times, although never to Hiyori. ]

True, true! But if simply teasing someone was taboo, then I wouldn't have been able to give you those chopsticks!
[The ones with the chopstick holder that referenced Elan's "ducktail."]
There's that, and we'd also have slightly less fun during our intimate times. Being teased by me feels good, doesn't it?
[What a question.]

[ His smile grows a liiiiittle wider.
Yeah, OK, he's responding in kind. ]
Some of it feels nice enough...

[His own grin widens. He scooches forward on the couch, his fingers reaching for Elan's cheek, careful not to tip over his tea mug.]

Nope. Just the TV, opening back up to those videos they were watching earlier. He stares at his own face, looking shocked!]
I've never been interrupted by myself before!
