[Loki knows they aren’t always common. Even where he’s from, there are plenty in the Nine who have never come across one before, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t there. And after all, just because Hiyori has only heard about some stereotypes of elves doesn’t mean they aren’t in his world too.]
Well, I have met many elves, and I assure you, you would stand out amongst the best of them.
[It’s understandable, really. Loki has been torn about being here for some time. The friends he’s made here are dear to him, have even come to feel more like family in some cases. But he’s also aware that he wants to go home. He has family there he misses as well, as well as a job to do. The only thing that eases his mind on that front is that the multiverse clearly still exists. Well, that and the kindness he’s received from people like Hiyori has kept him going.
It will be hard, losing Hiyori, but Loki understands that he cannot stay. He only hopes to enjoy this last time together, however they spend it. And hopefully, with the way he can feel Hiyori’s heartbeat under his touch, Loki will get to show him exactly how he feels.]
Well, I can assure you my bed is very comfortable. And only the very lucky get to share it with me. It sounds like it is the same for you, even in your own world. Would you like to see it?
[He smiles, happy to be told he'd stand out from the elves, to be praised by someone he likes and admires.]
I don't think we have elves, but I suppose I don't know for sure. This place opened my mind to new possibilities, anyway. I never thought I'd be friends with superheroes, people who use magic, people with animal ears, or the famous trickster god~♪
[The last bit is said with extra warmth, eyes crinkling fondly at the corners. He really does appreciate the people he's met, the things they've shown and taught him. He struggled so much against this place, but now that he's chosen to leave, thinking back on his experiences feels almost nostalgic. He belongs with Jun and the others from ES, but he's glad his world could cross with Loki's. That they could share conversations, meals, magic shows...
And a bed, which Loki assures him is very comfortable. There's no hesitation when Loki asks; he nods, holding tightly onto Loki's arm, and prepares to be swept away.]
[For some reason, one of Loki's favourite past times at resort has been making Hiyori smile. Well, maybe the reason is not so mysterious and it's not just because Loki has some feelings for the other man. A lot of it just comes down to the fact that his smile is beautiful to behold and Loki has a bit of a thing for seeing it. It's only made better when he knows he's the one who has caused it.]
It is possible they are not in your world, but if they are, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that some of their blood ran in your veins.
[It might be a bit of a surprise, but Hiyori's words cause a bit of a blush to tint Loki's cheeks.]
I do hope that if there is a variant of myself in your world and you meet him that he treats you well. If not, please slap him for me. He will likely deserve it.
[Loki smiles again and nods in response. He feels his heart start to beat more strongly in his chest. Is he nervous? Surely not. It isn't as if this would be their first time, though it would be the first time they both do it without any outside encouragement.
He whisks Hiyori off through his massive suite towards the bedroom, which is also massive. Loki didn't take the measurements, but he's pretty sure his entire 5th floor suite would fit in the bedroom here.
This room, though very large, feels cozier than the main part of the suite, making it seem like Loki probably spends most of his time in here. The windows look out on what appears to be a forrest that clearly isn't a real place in the resort. The remaining walls are covered in bookshelves all filled with books. There's an oversized wingback chair in the corner under a lamp where Loki can read comfortably for hours when he needs to get away from the rest of the resort.
The bed stands on the far side of the room, looming and regal, covered in plush pillows and a thick blanket.]
[It's a bit of a bizarre compliment, saying he could have elf blood running in his veins. But he knows it is a compliment, and its oddity makes it special, so he replies brightly.]
A variant of yourself, hmm...?
[He's still smiling, but that thought gives him pause. He's talked about similar things with other people: speculating with Leo about what would happen if the versions of "them" at the resort and the versions of "them" at home ever met, and pondering with Bakugo whether their resort selves are mere "copies." Something about the latter idea doesn't sit right with him, though, and never has. Whatever might be going on at home, his feelings and experiences at the resort feel real. And so he says:]
I'll be sure to give a friendly "hello" if I ever do meet someone like that. I'll even offer him some fanservice! [And then he winks and blows a kiss to demonstrate.] No one could replace the Loki-kun I know, though. You two might look the same, but if they're not the same one I know and love, it won't feel quite like "Loki-kun."
[Said lightly, but the topic feels as though it weighs on him heavily.
This is their goodbye. Isn't it? This is their last chance—or one of their last chances—to meet. This version of him, and this version of Loki. Sometimes people who've turned into statues turn up again at the resort later: he knows this. But their memories aren't always intact, and it's not something he's hoping for in his case. What he wants is to end up where Jun ended up, so he can keep him company and try to help him.
That's what a good senpai—a good partner—should do. And that means an end to the Hiyori Tomoe who's living at the resort and chatting happily with Loki now. Thinking about it makes his chest ache, but he smiles, keeping his head held high and his arm looped around Loki's. If their time together is done for soon after this, then he wants to make the most of it.
Fortunately, they're on the same page there. Loki whisks him off to his bedroom for more private time, and it feels like stepping into a cozy-but-luxurious woodland cabin. The walls are stacked high with books, the bed looks nice and comfortable, what feels like real sunlight streams in through the windows, and the room looks out on a forest. Loki's own little world, and for the moment, their little world.]
Cute!
[His response comes quick and easy when Loki asks for his assessment.]
Lots of space, but it looks homey! [There's an approving smile on his lips as he looks around the room.] I bet Nagisa-kun would absolutely love it here. There's easy access to nature, and it's a book lover's paradise. And then the bed looks just perfect for sleepovers.
[It's said innocently enough, with Hiyori remembering the times he shared a bed with his childhood friend growing up. But there's a note of mischief to his voice as he turns away from the room and back to Loki, before he adds:]
Not to invite myself over, of course. Loki-kun's the host, so only he can do that.
Yes, I seem to exist in many timelines, though I can change wildly from what I've heard. I'm afraid I am not always nice so do not put up with my crap if I say or do anything untowards.
[Loki wouldn't be surprised if Hiyori could charm any version of him, but just in case, he feels like he should warn his friend. Because there are a lot of his variants that are just the worst versions of himself. He really hopes Hiyori never meets one of them.
Loki pauses when Hiyori uses the word love. It takes him off guard. It's not a word that he uses a lot himself, but this time it causes him to stop and consider. He won't pretend they have anything like Hiyori does with Jun, but does he love his friend. For the first time Loki has to admit to himself that he does. Loki swallows thickly, but keeps moving, deciding not to address this verbally. He knows what's going to happen, how they are going to say goodbye and in that is how he will show Hiyori how he feels, with so much more than words.]
I am glad you approve. I admit I spend most of my time in here. It was a bit of a shock after spending more than a year in a level 5 suite. I believe my promotion was due to someone else I care about leaving, but I don't have any concrete proof.
[It's hard, knowing this is the end, but Loki isn't going to let that ruin their time together. For once, he's going to try to take a page out of Hiyori's book and look on the bright side. He's going to enjoy whatever time they have left together and hopefully, Hiyori will remember him when he makes it to the other side.]
You may invite yourself to my home any time you wish. You have always been welcome here.
[He steps in a little closer to Hiyori, leaning in as he brings his hand up to cup Hiyori's face.]
I do not extend such an invitation to just anyone. I want you to know that.
["I exist in many timelines" is one of those statements that would've completely flummoxed him before coming to GP, but now he just takes it in stride, along with all the other talk of different selves. Loki implies the other versions of himself aren't so friendly and kind (unsurprising, given the myth), but Hiyori just smiles and chimes:]
Not to worry! I don't tolerate things I don't like, and I'm excellent at raising a fuss, so there shouldn't be any problem! [And then, smiling mischievously:] If I ever do meet a troublesome version of Loki-kun, I'll do my best to tame him into a good boy. Then I might just become the very first human to make a god of mischief answer to me. Wouldn't that be something? ♪
[It's not as though every version of him is a great person. He's been selfish and cruel before, and he trampled all over people's dreams in the past. But human beings can always change and do better. It's thanks to people like his brother and Nagisa, who believed the best of him, that he could become a person he's happy with. All his loved ones played a role in shaping who he is. And in the resort, that includes—
Loki. Doesn't it?
The word "love" slips out rather casually; so casually, he didn't think twice about it. While Loki lingers on the turn of phrase, Hiyori's busy surveying his room. It's nice, he likes it, and after seeing Loki's small suite before, he's happy about the upgrade. Loki calls it a "shock" after living in a Rank 5 room for so long, and he nods, chiming in—]
Right, you did the best you could with it, but your room before was so—
[So cramped compared to this one, not at all what someone like Loki deserves. He'd been about to say something like that, before Loki reveals the thinks the upgrade was due to a friend's departure. Then, he goes quiet.
His smile falters, a sadness creeping into his eyes. Hearing that makes him sad, but it also forcibly reminds him of his own imminent departure. Another friend who's about to leave Loki: that's what he'll be. Is he hurting him even worse by being here right now?
He isn't given time to linger on that question. Loki severs the thought before it can take root, saying he's always welcome here in his private suite, reaching out to cup his face. The tenderness in his words, in his expression, in that gesture—they all make Hiyori's heart skip. His eyes flare, cheeks coloring pink, before he smiles warmly up at Loki.]
Mm. [He leans into the touch.] Don't worry. I understand just how special that is.
[And then, reaching up to place a warm palm over the hand on his cheek:]
You're someone special to me, too. Just so you know.
[Loki can’t help but laugh. It’s a bright sound, truly amused as he shakes his head slightly at Hiyori.]
No, I cannot imagine a world where you put up with anything you didn’t like. I would expect nothing less. I admit, if there is anyone in the whole multiverse who could tame any of my variants, I am sure it is you.
[So far, there has only ever been one other person that has managed to ‘tame a Loki’ if you will and he became Loki’s best friend. It really isn’t a stretch that finding someone else with that kind of capability would appeal to Loki. Though on the surface there isn’t a whole lot in common between Hiyori and Mobius, there is still something unique to both of them that attracts Loki and he’s only just starting to understand that.]
I almost wish to see you try taming me, though I honestly wouldn’t wish my past self on anyone. I do not doubt your ability, but it would be a bit embarrassing for you to know me how I was. I am not sure you would want to bother with me.
[He actually says this with an air of amusement. Loki is all too aware of what he was like and how he can be and blames no one for not enjoying his company when he’s like that.]
Cramped. You can say it. I did not mind though. There are those here who have it worse. All I truly missed was having my own bath. The shower was sufficient of course, but I do enjoy a nice private bath, especially around these parts. But otherwise, it was much more like what I had become accustomed to in the time I spent leading up to coming here. It has actually been quite a long time since I’ve had accommodations like these.
[Not that he’s complaining. His suite is very nice and he’s happy to have it, it’s just not something he needs anymore. Except for that bathtub, of course.]
I am glad to hear that. You have come to mean quite a lot to me and it is nice to know that feeling is reciprocated.
[Loki smiles softly as Hiyori tilts into his touch. He can’t seem to help himself as he leans in and places a soft, chaste kiss to his lips. He’s going to savour every moment of this time they have together, starting with this kiss.]
belatedly noticing I replied to the wrong thread. sorry (also 1/2)
Taming rude boys is something of a hobby, but he's been a rude boy himself before. It's why Loki's warnings about his own past self don't deter him. Maybe that's foolish, given that he knows Loki is a god and that gods have different human behavioral standards than humans. Knows, too, that many of the people he's met at GP have gone through things he can't even fathom, that some have committed acts he'd find repugnant—in the name of survival or war, or because they, too, used to be different people.
But he accepts Loki the way he is, the same as he accepts people like Nagisa and Jun the way they are. He likes them too much not to. Loki's not going to drive him away, and he only smiles warmly at the god's warnings.]
I wouldn't count on that. Knowing how kind-hearted you are now, I just might find the cheekier version of Loki-kun to be cute!
[Said cheerfully. And then:]
There's that, and it'd make me an utter hypocrite if I judged you too harshly for who you used to be. I wasn't always kind myself, after all. I was cynical, rude, I got used as a pawn in some big-headed guy's scheme, and to top it all off, I didn't even protect Nagisa-kun from getting caught in the same trap.
[He shakes his head to himself as he reflects on the past. It's not the first time he's done so here; that time with the paint doppelgangers ensured he's had plenty of opportunity to ruminate on this stuff.
But then, before the mood can get too serious:]
So if we ever meet each other's past selves, we'll have to give them some tough love! That should set them straight...♪
[A simple and elegant solution to a situation that likely won't ever come to pass. He smiles like he's proud of it.
Then comes the talk about Loki's room and the mention of his friend who disappeared. Though it silences Hiyori, Loki doesn't seem too broken up about it. Or, more likely, he knows nothing good will come from talking about it. There's a reason Hiyori hasn't brought up Jun's disappearance, either. Though given what he now knows (or thinks he knows) about Jun's soul in relation to his statue, he probably should at some point; Loki might take heart in what he learned, too.
But that talk can happen later, after the sweet words they exchange and the equally sweet kiss that Loki gives him. Hiyori accepts it happily, closing his eyes, his hand still covering Loki's. He savors the feeling of their overlapping breath, the warmth of Loki's lips. He's been through a lot of turmoil since the start of the month, but right now, he feels at peace.]
[A Loki whisperer? Loki hasn’t really thought of it that way, but the term does seem to apply. There really haven’t been many of them, which would make Hiyori special, but that would be nothing new. Loki has believed Hiyori is special from the first moment he met him, and not just because he is a great performer.
Loki knows of other gods that have different behavioral standards than mortals, but that has never really been him. He’s heard tales of Zeus needing such things, but if he’s honest, Zeus has always seemed like an epic jerk to him. That had been a bit of a hypocritical thought for many years, but even now, with a clearer head, Loki can say without question that Zeus is indeed a jerk. He will never understand how he got to be so popular. But Loki has never needed followers or paid much attention to how others acted. Though he is quite aware that he didn’t have the same morals as his brother. Thor has always been better with people than Loki ever managed. At least until more recently.
If there’s anything Loki is particularly wary of, it’s people like Hiyori finding out about his past. He’s confessed a few things to some of his friends, but he suspects that Hiyori in specific might not be able to forgive him for some of the things he’s been responsible for, even if Hiyori does understand what it’s like to not be the best version of yourself. It doesn’t really matter if he had reasons, or if there were extenuating circumstances. He’s not about to use those as excuses. No matter what else might have been going on, Loki also knows that he made a lot of those decisions of his own free will and that’s what really scares him when it comes to others finding out about his past.]
Kind hearted?
[Though Loki is well aware of how much he’s changed and how much he wishes to change more, when others say such things about him, he still finds it difficult to believe. The idea that he might actually be kind hearted hasn’t occurred to him even though it might have always been true. Something he still hasn’t quite come to terms with is how sensitive he has always been and how that led to him reacting quite badly to certain events in his life. All he can see is that he’s done terrible things. It hasn’t occurred to him that his over-sensitivity led to some of his negative reactions.
Loki listens carefully as Hiyori speaks of his past. He understands what his friend is trying to do, but it is also painfully obvious that he has no idea what Loki is responsible for. In some ways, even most ways, Loki has redeemed himself. The problem is that he hasn’t been able to apologize to those he’s actually hurt in the process. All of his coming to terms with who he was and how he was happened when he couldn’t do anything to help with those he actually hurt. There has been no way for him to apologize properly, or do anything to show anyone how much he actually feels regret for those he’s hurt and worse. It’s all fine and well that people here who he has not met have forgiven him, but they don’t have any true sense of all the evil Loki has participated in in his life before.
But how would he ever explain such things to someone like Hiyori? He doesn’t wish to belittle his friend’s confession, or turn this into some warped form of competition so instead he says nothing at first.]
Please, promise me if you are ever to meet me outside of this place, you will take precautions first. Be sure it is a version of me who either knows you or can handle criticism.
[Loki is suddenly very serious. He doesn’t quite know how to tell Hiyori just how dangerous he can be without really changing the mood of the situation, or letting him know just how terrible he had once been. He probably should tell him at some point, just to prepare him for any future possible encounter, if nothing else, but at the moment, he finds it very difficult to explain. So he doesn’t.
Perhaps Hiyori will never meet another version of him, or he truly is a Loki whisperer and will win over any variant he encounters. Loki likes that idea and he finds himself smiling at the thought, and down at his friend. Loki places a hand over Hiyori’s where it lays on his chest.]
If you are asking if I enjoyed myself, I very much did, but if you are wondering if it was how I pictured us being together, then no. I had much higher expectations. I wanted to show you how much you are worth. I feel the drugs stole that from us.
Maybe in 2026 I'll make fewer embarrassing blunders...
[Hiyori knows how it feels to compare yourself to a wonderfully kind, morally upright older brother and find yourself lacking, anyway...
But he can't relate to Loki in every respect. The darkness Loki carries, and whatever past regrets haunt him—those are things Hiyori can relate to, but there are still worlds between them. Hiyori has never been all that dangerous, even when under the influence of his suit. Someone with Loki's powers, on the other hand... that person could wreak absolute havoc, could plunge the whole world straight to Hell.
That reality sinks in when Loki gets all serious on him, making him promise to tread carefully. Hiyori blinks up at him, studying his grave face. It seems an absurd thing to worry about, on the face of it. Why would he ever meet a past version of Loki? But stranger things have happened, and the Spades event did have doppelgangers running around, including a past version of Hiyori. It's not as ridiculous a warning as it seems. He still doesn't anticipate needing it, but after a moment, he responds.]
"Don't poke the sleeping dragon," huh? [He nods.] Very well. If I do meet a younger Loki-kun, I'll be nice and gentle!
[With... his words... he means.]
I know I love talking a bit too much, [he adds more seriously,] and I say nasty things sometimes. But I'll try to stay out of trouble. I wouldn't want Loki-kun to worry, after all.
[Even though he knows his plan for leaving the resort and reuniting with Jun is likely to worry Loki a whole lot, too...
But before he explains that, he has other stuff he wants. Things he wants to express and memories he wants to make. And one memory he'd like to rewrite, if given the opportunity. First, he checks to see if Loki is on the same page. And, with a gentle smile and a hand clasped warmly over his own, Loki affirms that he is. Hiyori drops the serious expression and smiles back, feeling relieved.]
Right? [He nods emphatically.] I feel exactly the same way. I loved being held by Loki-kun, and it felt so good my head went numb, but I still wished it could have happened differently. Loki-kun and I have a good bond, and there's a definite spark between us, so there's no need for something like drugs. That wine was com~pletely unnecessary!
[His voice rises, loud and confident, before he lowering to a gentle tone, the hand on Loki's chest flipping for a proper handhold.]
Which is why I hoped we could have a do-over. I don't want to forget that night, but I don't want it to be the only time we held each other. Loki-kun feels the same way, right?
[It’s actually a bit of a relief when it seems as though Hiyori is taking him seriously. He doesn’t want to have to be forceful about it, or reveal more of his past. That isn’t the mood they’re going for here. Loki knows something more serious is happening between them right now and he doesn’t wish to stray from that. Also, he’s terrified of how Hiyori might respond to such revelations, but he isn’t about to admit to that just yet.]
Precisely. And if you so much as get even a hint that I am upset or angry, walk away. Not all Loki’s are redeemable, even for the best of the Loki Whisperers.
[He smiles a bit at the end of that, trying to tone down his dire message a little bit, but he does wish Hiyori to understand that he means what he says. If Loki were ever to get back to the TVA and find out that any version of him had hurt any version of Hiyori, he really doesn’t know how he would react, but likely not well.
Loki visibly breathes a sigh of relief and nods. Though he knows that sometimes Hiyori can get himself into trouble with his words (it might be part of the reason why Loki likes him so much), but he is all too aware of how things can go wrong especially with how a Loki can be. If Hiyori were to meet one of those versions of him and Loki hadn’t warned him first, he’d never be able to forgive himself.
Never before has Loki been quite so happy to welcome a change in topic. He grins widely as Hiyori speaks more on their night together at the Gala. Loki did very much enjoy himself, even if it wasn’t under more optimal circumstances. Hiyori deserves to be treated like he’s precious and not simply taken in the back room of a party while some strangers watch on.
Even if that had been kind of hot.
No, it definitely isn’t how Loki had wanted things to go if he’d ever been so lucky to have Hiyori to himself. And now, if he’s to believe what he’s hearing, it’s starting to sound like he’s going to get a second chance.]
I just want to make sure I’m perfectly clear on this. Are you asking if I will show you how I actually wanted our first time together to be? Because I would more than happily show you.
[He repeats the phrase, his expression blank, trying it on for size. And then he breaks into a broad, goofy grin.]
I like it! ♪
[It tickles him pink, this idea of being someone who can understand and get along with Loki in any universe although their Decadia TDM thread would beg to differ.
And it seems they're on the same page in this universe, too, since Loki grins at his talk about the gala. "I'd be more than happy to show you," he says when Hiyori proposes a do-over. And Hiyori smiles back, his cheeks warm and his chest fluttering with excitement.]
That's just what I meant! Only with one small correction.
[He takes one hand away, and then he taps a finger to Loki's lips, looking up at him mischievously.]
I won't make you do all the work. I want to show off for Loki-kun, too. You deserve a special service, after all. Something sweet to remember me by me...♪
[Because he is going soon. But maybe he meant it in a more general sense. He hopes the phrasing doesn't raise too many alarm bells, anyway.]
[There's a moment where Loki is confused himself. He also doesn't know where that phrase came from. He's heard similar ones himself before, but never in relation to himself. It almost feels like the phrase was dropped into his head from elsewhere. But he shakes off the strange feeling and smiles at Hiyori when he exclaims about liking it.
Truth is, Loki kind of likes it too. It feels right somehow, like Hiyori has always been meant to understand him. A little bit like how Mobius did, though Hiyori actually took to believing him faster than his best friend back home. Hiyori should not be deterred by his Decadia counter part. He just needs a bit more time than this one.]
A correction?
[If Hiyori hadn't already had Loki's attention, that sure got it.]
You know I enjoy this kind of work, especially with you, but I couldn't imagine denying your desire to show off. Though I cannot imagine not remembering you for any reason. But I digress. What exactly did you have in mind?
[He hasn't rented a space at a sex club this time.]
Just a "give and take" sort of deal. As much as I love being carried off to bed and doted on, Loki-kun deserves to feel good, too. So, I thought perhaps we could take turns! First, Loki-kun lies back and lets me make him feel good, and then Loki-kun gets to have his way and do whatever he wants.
[He taps Loki on the chin playfully, then drops his hand back on Loki's chest.]
[Loki can't stop the small laugh that escapes him. He can't imagine a scenario where either of them aren't elaborate, but he likes to think it's partly why they get along so well.
Then Hiyori goes on to describe his idea and Loki would be lying if even just hearing the suggestion wasn't turning him on. After their time with the tainted wine, it seems all bets are off and Loki is surprised, but not disappointed.]
Are you sure that's what you want? I think you know that I have wanted you, aphrodisiac free, for a very long time now, but I don't want you to think just because of what happened before that you need to.
[He's trying to be nice, trying to give Hiyori an out if he wants one, but the truth of it is, it sounds like the best time he could possibly have. Fun simply doesn't do it justice.]
[He replies with no hesitation, an easy smile on his lips. He could just leave it at that; it should be enough for Loki.
Yet for some reason, he keeps going. There's a pause before he says:]
The reason I fought so hard against this place was because of Jun-kun, but it was also for myself. I used to be someone who thought "Love is too much effort," but I'd play around with whoever felt like having me. It was a way to kill time and feel less lonely, so I thought it was fine if we just pretended to like each other.
[A bit more of that past he hasn't shared. It's said matter-of-factly; this isn't one of the parts of his past he regrets, but it sure did inform his actions in the beginning.]
I thought I was being pushed to go back to that mindset, so I found it bothersome. Not that there's anything wrong with doing it like that, but that sort of thing is more fun when it's with someone precious. Someone you care for deeply, someone you've shared all sorts of important things with...
[He trails off, and then he looks meaningfully up at Loki, his hands still pressed to Loki's chest, over his heart.]
But that isn't just Jun-kun. He's my one and only partner, and the one I fell for, but I've also made other connections. I was changed by them bit by bit, just as Jin Mingming said. And indulging in something like this won't mean I love Jun-kun any less. It'll just mean that I shared intimacies with some other precious friends, too.
[He shakes his head a bit as he finally admits:]
It sounds simple, doesn't it? But it took me absolutely forever to realize.
[Loki isn’t sure he’s ever heard Hiyori talk like this before. But he doesn’t think there is anything untrue or misleading about what Hiyori is telling him. They don’t lie to each other. Never have, and Loki doesn’t think they ever will. That isn’t something he can say for many people, even if more recently he’s only felt that he’s lied by omission in not telling people openly about his past. That might still be the case here, but it feels different somehow.
But either way, Hiyori’s words feel true. Like he’s really been thinking about this for a long time. It isn’t something that has just come up for him, even if it is the first time he’s expressing it or even if he only truly came to his final conclusion about it all more recently. None of that matters. All Loki cares about is that Hiyori is happy with his decision because Loki would be lying if he said he wasn’t. All he’s wanted for quite awhile now is to be able to show his friend just how much he cares about him and just how much he wants him.
Loki knows that Hiyori has some idea about that already. The few things they’ve done together of a sexual nature has shown that, but this, he thinks, will be different. No influence by the house, no show, no audience, no aphrodisiacs. Just two friends making each other feel good by showing each other just how much they care.
Hiyori’s words touch Loki deeply. Over the last few years, Loki has gained more and more friends, has allowed himself to feel more deeply for many of them, but he’s never had someone so fully tell him just how they felt and it means more to him than he could ever properly express. He grips the hand at his chest, a smile dancing in his eyes. Never did he think he would hear such words from Hiyori and he’s not about to take them for granted.]
Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to see. I spent so much of my life pushing people away, convinced that no one could love me or even truly like me. That no one could ever really understand how I felt, but after meeting people like you, I know how wrong I was. More than anything, I want to show you just how much you mean to me.
[With that, Loki pulls him in a little closer, looking him in the eyes, and smiles before leaning in to place a chaste kiss to his lips.]
[The question of whether to participate in the game (and if so, how to go about it) has been eating at him. He's thought about it a lot because he's been here a while. At first he thought he and Jun definitely couldn't participate. Then he thought maybe they could, but only by having sex in front of others. Then they decided they could have contact with other people, but only if they were both present, and only if they'd talked about it first. The truth is, he was scared. Scared of losing Jun to someone else, and scared of reverting into the person he once was.
One girl here accused him of avoiding Game 52 because he was afraid it would change him. One boy here told him that if Jun ever turns into a statue, it'll be his fault for preventing him from playing the game. Both of them had a point.
Would things have been different if he'd come to this conclusion sooner? Would he and Jun have been able to gather enough cards to make their Wish come true? Or would Jun still have turned into a statue...?
It doesn't matter. He knows that people who play the game avidly can still turn to stone. And he knows now, thanks to Bakugo and Hua Cheng, that "turning to stone" isn't the same as death; that it's akin to going home. That's what he's chosen to believe.
His words may sound like pretty excuses, but he means them, and he's glad they resonate with Loki. He smiles and closes his eyes, returning the soft, chaste kiss, leaning forward and letting Loki support him.]
Then we both want the exact same thing~♪
[His hands come to rest on Loki's shoulders, voice a warm murmur.]
Doing that with other people helps me feel less lonely, but I don't want it to be with just anyone. I want it to be with Loki-kun. Not everyone who's important to me is someone I'd sleep with, but Loki-kun and I are compatible as friends and in the bedroom, so we make perfect sense together! I just want to lay a quick ground rule first.
[He taps Loki on the shoulder and says:]
No magically removing my clothes this time! I'd rather we take our sweet time enjoying each other. Think you can manage that?
[Loki is aware of a lot of the stages that Hiyori has gone through when considering if, when and how to play the game and for the most part he believes it all to be about Jun and Hiyori being loyal to each other. Loki has always taken that to heart. It could not be easy to have that kind of relationship in a place like this and honestly, Loki hopes to one day have a relationship like that himself. Though with how long he's been at the resort now, he can't imagine it will happen for him. Besides, the only person he's met that he thinks that could actually happen with isn't here. Not that he would want to subject him to this place anyway.
However, if he knew about the things some others have said to Hiyori concerning how he and Jun chose to deal with Game 52, he's not sure he would be able to stay quiet. Especially with the person who told Hiyori it would be his fault if Jun turned to stone. As far as Loki is concerned, all of that is the fault of the resort and no one else. Not to mention the fact that he's sure they both agreed to handling things that way knowing full well the issues they may run into.
Thankfully, Loki doesn't know this or who said it so he won't be storming off to scare the life of whoever would say such things to someone Loki cares about.]
I feel like we both want the same thing more often than either of us have been willing to admit.
[Loki smiles, he can't help it. He's not sure anyone has said anything quite so sweet to him before. Hiyori is right, of course. They have proven to be compatible both in and outside of the bedroom, and he can't help but wonder if there isn't a timeline somewhere in the vastness of the multiverse where Loki gets to call Hiyori his own.]
Anything you wish.
[When Hiyori makes his request, Loki's smile widens and he pulls him into a hug. He presses a kiss to the soft skin just behind Hiyori's ear.]
I can most definitely handle that. I would love to slowly unwrap you like the best gift I have ever been given.
[Yep, they want the same things, alright. He wants to lie back and get serviced, Loki wants to be servicing him!
... that's pretty much how it went last time, but he has something a bit different in mind for this time. More of a mutual give-and-take. Still he's thankful for Loki's kind treatment, his soft kisses and sweet words, and he gives a delighted laugh at those last ones. He loops his arms around Loki's neck, hugging him back, pressed chest to chest with him and heartbeat to heartbeat.]
Then we're both on the same page. [His arms tighten around Loki and he tucks his head next to his, speaking close to his ear.]
Enjoy your gift to the fullest~♪
[And then he draws back, so he can tilt his head up and claim Loki's lips for himself. Fingers smooth over clothes, hands running along Loki's shoulders, his lips a gentle but insistent pressure. He's not clinging to him as tightly or as desperately as last time. This, he's already decided, will be the last time he's intimate with someone in the resort. He wants it to last and wants it to count, once he's swept off to bed.
[Loki has wanted to service him for clear over a year by this point. It almost doesn’t feel real that it’s finally happening. Of course, this isn’t their first time, but in all the ways that count, it feels like it is. This time, Loki plans on showing Hiyori exactly how he feels through touch alone. He’s going to take Hiyori apart, show him exactly what he is capable of until he is spent and cradled in his arms.
The feeling of Hiyori pressed against him is one of the best feelings in the world. It’s almost overwhelming and though he has every intention of commenting something sexy and flirty in response, but Hiyori’s final words send a shiver down his spine and he finds himself shivering as he pulls him in and buries his face in Hiyori’s neck before they pull a part momentarily.
The kiss is heated from the moment their lips touch. Loki falls fully into it, his eyes closing against the intensity of it as he pulls Hiyori in even closer. He could use magic to get them there, but Loki doesn’t feel like rushing anything. Instead, he slides his hands down Hiyori’s back until they cup his ass, squeezing, before moving to lift him, trying to indicate his intention to carry him to the bedroom without having to break the kiss.]
[Every bit of it is electrifying. The heat of Loki's mouth, his roaming hands, all of it. Hiyori kisses back eagerly, smoothing his hands down Loki's back and towards his waist, wanting to touch and explore him properly too this time. But when Loki indicates he wants to lift him, he gets the message immediately, wrapping his arms around Loki's neck again without breaking the kiss and pushing his weight against him, all ready to be carried.
Jun did this for him all the time. It's something he likes, being swept off to bed. And maybe Loki will feel the telltale smile on his lips.]
[It may not be the first time Loki has had Hiyori wrapped around him, but this somehow feels more intimate even if they aren't naked yet. It feels natural to have him in his arms like this, like somehow this point in time is one that was meant to be.
Loki holds onto that thought as he begins to walk them through his suite towards his large bedroom. He does feel the smile against his lips and it causes one in return, slowing the kiss momentarily until he can get himself under control again.
When they make it to the bedroom, Loki gently puts Hiyori down, breaking the kiss only long enough to scoot them back on the bed so he can crawl over top of Hiyori.]
You are one of the loveliest creatures I have ever had the luck to lay my eyes upon.
[Hiyori is pliant, happy to be swept away and laid on the bed like something precious to be admired. He catches glimpses of Loki's King-sized bedroom on the way there, the books and lights and forest view from the windows. All very impressive. But as Loki crawls on top of him in bed, Hiyori has eyes for nothing and no one else.
He was already smiling, but when Loki says those ridiculously sweet words, the look on his face grows even warmer. He gives a delighted-sounding laugh and chimes:]
Thank you, thank you~♪ That means a lot coming from Loki-kun, since he's absolutely ancient!
[His eyes are bright, wavy hair fanned out around him, body relaxed against the plush bedding. He raises his arms off the bed, holds them out expectantly, waiting for Loki to come in between them so he can wrap around him properly.]
I think he's awfully handsome myself, to tell you the truth. [Said softly, like it's a secret between them.] And I love how he looks at me, and how warm he is... all sorts of things.
no subject
Would you like to see it?
no subject
Sure! Let's go thataways~♪
no subject
So, what do you think?
no subject
Loki-kun's the host, so only he can do that.
no subject
I want you to know that.
no subject
Just so you know.
no subject
He’s going to savour every moment of this time they have together, starting with this kiss.]
belatedly noticing I replied to the wrong thread. sorry (also 1/2)
[Does that make him the official Loki Whisperer?
2/2
[He takes a half-step forward, putting them chest to chest. His eyes peer curiously upward as he says:]
About the night we had at the gala... were you satisfied with that?
I was deep into my reply before I realized something was off LOL
Perhaps, but then would you be you? :D
Because I would more than happily show you.
probably not no...
Excellent! Because I have no complaints.

What do you think? Doesn't that sound fun?
no subject

Think you can manage that?
no subject
I would love to slowly unwrap you like the best gift I have ever been given.
no subject
... that's pretty much how it went last time, but he has something a bit different in mind for this time.
Or teleported there. Whatever Loki prefers.]

Jun did this for him all the time. It's something he likes, being swept off to bed. And maybe Loki will feel the telltale smile on his lips.]
no subject
Loki holds onto that thought as he begins to walk them through his suite towards his large bedroom. He does feel the smile against his lips and it causes one in return, slowing the kiss momentarily until he can get himself under control again.
When they make it to the bedroom, Loki gently puts Hiyori down, breaking the kiss only long enough to scoot them back on the bed so he can crawl over top of Hiyori.]
You are one of the loveliest creatures I have ever had the luck to lay my eyes upon.
no subject
